Our activities

Commercial and residential areas

Interior design

Our projects are always guided by a profound academic aspect and by a remarkable and advanced historical research. However, historical research does not mean, for us, to imprison the creations in a notion of “style”, let alone pervade the projects of “fragments of history”, but to create inhabited spaces that recover intimate life and the human scale. “The Gentil’Homo great utility and consolation will come from the houses of the villa, where time is spent to see and adorn its possessions, and … where finally the tired soul of the city ‘s turmoil will take much rest and consolation” (Andrea Palladium).
Just as this spirit was masterfully interpreted by the best workers of the time, from the 16th to the 18th century, carpenters, carvers, gilders, upholsterers, glaziers, mirrors makers, collaborating with the best architects, contributed to the creation of the hundreds of houses that dot the Venetian hinterland, similarly we try nowadays, with our projects, to revive, even in products or furnishings referring to contemporary art or productions intended for large series, the sentiment, the research and the fervent industriousness that have made, of the masterpieces that surround us, a point of reference for the world culture.
The same design methodology is applied by us both in the realization of the single object and in the large complex, through our sensitivity and an acute dialogue with the artisans and companies that collaborate in the realization of the works. In this way, the project does not remain a symbolic expression, but takes shape through the skills, industriousness, culture and human values of each one. And the charm of a new work lives again: through the sensitivity of those who contribute to its realization, it takes shape in perfect balance with the historical dimension that determined it and the technological projection that leads it to realization.

For over twenty years Neolapis, with dozens of industrial products conceived, designed and produced, has been a leader in Italian design and of the “made in Italy” in the world. Over the long years of activity, it has carried out an intense research and design action both for the industrial district to which it belongs and abroad. The main lines of investigation, study and design touched on different themes such as furniture, advanced materials and products, textile materials, visual arts and communication. Neolapis’ research has always valued and has always been inspired by the rich historical, scientific and cultural Italian heritage in a constant retrospective analysis and a look to the future for the discovery of new languages, new thoughts and new artistic and cultural expressions.

The Image before anything else

Communication

Sometimes it happens that the furnishing project also becomes a real communication project; the logo of the family, suitably studied, in tune with the prestige and activity of the family to which the project is intended, finds innumerable applications: silverware, linen, jewelery as well as the wine label or the ” ex libris “… Everything is appropriately personalized.

Oriental science

Feng Shui analysis

Feng shui is an ancient oriental art, auxiliary to architecture. Unlike this, however, it also takes into account aspects of the psyche and astrology.
Literally translated “Feng Shui” means “Wind and Water”, the main components of the genesis of the places where we live. Many and such were the contaminations and interpretations of thought, close to these theories, which often appear discordant and not very univocal.
For these reasons, the methodological approach that we have applied to our research is inspired by the harmonious movement of “yin and yang”, considering these values very similar and comparable with both Western and Eastern cultures.
These two values continuously mix, merge or separate, but together they shape and configure ourselves and what surrounds us. Our whole life is a succession of lights and shadows, day and night, black and white, beautiful and ugly, good and bad, rational and irrational, life and death … a great analogy with the concept of yin and yang of ancient Chinese philosophy.
